Precision Group has once again attended the world’s major plastic and rubber industry trade fair - K-Show (19-26, October 2016), which is held every three years in Dusseldorf, Germany. Most of Precision’s management team attended the K-Show trade fair, along with a selection of Precision plant and sale personnel. This was the 6th K-Show, and Precision Group has never failed to participate as one of its exhibitors since 2001. Reports from the K-Show exhibition team indicate that there was an increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors compared to previous trade fair in 2013, reaching 3,285 and 230,000 respectively. Visitors came from over 160 countries around the world (Europe, the Americas, Africa), with noticeably higher numbers from Asia (China & India). The impressive number of participants and countries is indicative of the stability and growth of the global plastic and rubber industry. Within the 8-day trade fair show, Precision received more than 250 visitors, of which 50 contacts are considered to have a potential of concluding business and will be actively pursued. Apart from our prospective clients, Precision delegates were able to meet our existing multinational customers, such as Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever, Henkel and Procter & Gamble, as well as suppliers and industry partners (resins, raw materials, services etc.) This year’s K-Show has opened promising business opportunities for Precision Group, and introduced us notable strategic and technical innovations that will be made use of for our future business advancement.

We are extremely pleased that Mr.Jayakumar was awarded "CIO of the year" at the SMB annual summit on 11 September, 2019. Many congrats to Jayakumar for this great recognition.

On the recent occasion of International Yoga Day, Precision kick started its weekly Yoga sessions at 'The Residency' as part of our overall wellness strategy. It was a great success with over 50 employees joining in attendance, enjoying the Yoga program.

#Transformation Accelerator Award @ Enterprise Transformation Summit 2018 Dubai, in recognition of the efforts for #digitaltransformation within Precision. The summit was held on 12th December 2018 at CONRAD Dubai and was organized by QNA Marcom and Business Media International.

On May 6th 2018 - Precision Group went live with the latest Cloud ERP offering from Oracle – Fusion R13. This indeed is a bold and giant leap in the history which will enable Precision to the next level of transparency and efficiency. Precision process champions together with WIPRO have worked day in and out for last 10 months to design and build the future system has proven time and again, the spirit of teamwork and commitment across the organization. By moving onto this new era of Oracle cloud offering, marks the beginning of digital transformation within the group and will allow Precision to be up and ahead of its competitors while proudly maintaining its status as the reference point in the region. With this implementation, Precision joins the ranks of major manufacturing companies around the world who have adopted latest technologies for better visibility and decision making. The project is yet another example of Precision’s commitment towards delighting its customers by bringing out progressive and innovative solutions.

Precision Group once again participated in the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (31Oct201 - 2Nov2017). Brian Hinchliffe - Head of Sales & Business Development: “We benefited from a very smart booth and a high level of interest during this years’ Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition! Of particular interest was our new range of thermoformed cups, which are photographic printed on our newly installed Van Dam printer. An ‘innovation island’ attracted those passing by to stop and talk, on which we displayed a host of new bottle shapes and latest generation colouring features. There are mould prospects from within the GCC and from as far away as Uzbekistan and Pakistan, as well as a few from Iran”. Nilesh Rane - PPPC Sales Manager: “The event was successful, which specifically was a result of the location of the stand and the presentation done. Events such as these gives us a platform to connect with customers, current and new and creates an opportunity to showcase the recent innovations and achievements. Customers expressed their interest in new product range such as the IML and TF products, and testimonial of the same could be stated based on the inquiries received. Being a industry specific event, the audience was specific and with the repute that Precision holds within the Food Industry, further penetration into the given segment will be facilitated”. Anoop Raghavan – Sales & Engineering, Assistant Manager: “Innovatively designed innovation products  display had been the centre of attraction in our booth which helped us attract more visitors.  The Exhibition gave us more insights in to new trends & customer requirements in the packaging industry. We have seen several strong & prominent leads coming in for both plastics & moulds which we are quite confident of realizing”.

Precision recently participated in Propak West Africa 2017, regarded as the most prominent printing and packaging trade show in West Africa (held from 19th to 21st of September 2017). Propak West Africa was held by 135 exhibitors, and visited by more than 3,000 professionals from 22 countries. The Precision Group participated for the first time as an exhibitor in the Propak West Africa. An enormous number of guests visited our stand, with most of them very keen to build business relations with Precision. Our premium quality In-mould labelled (IML) dairy tubs & lids, and our Thermoformed (TF) dairy cups were of great interest to the food visitors to our booth, and captured the attention of the West African food manufacturers. We have received several inquiries for moulds which we will eagerly be responding to over the next few months. The Propak West Africa exhibitioin provided Precision an opportunity not just to showcase our world-class plastic packaging and engineered products, but also to acquire a better understanding of the West African market, and thereby create the best strategy to succeed in West Africa.

The Precision Residency was formally inaugurated on 21st August 2017. It was graced with the presence of the Directors - Dr. Tariq Al Tayer and Mr. Mohammed Sharif Abdulrahman, the Management Team and the employees. At Precision, the well-being and comfort of employees are of utmost concern. This brand new and state of the art residential facility can accommodate nearly 600 employees.

For the first time, Precision Group celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th June 2017 with a theme “Connecting People to Nature”. Headed by Mr. Pradeep Damle – Operations Excellence Manager & Mr. Shiju Koshy – HR and Administration Manager together with the team of passionate and committed employees successfully created awareness within the company about environmental sustainability. The overwhelming response of the employees from the various activities made the month long event a success. Among the highlights of the event was the poster making contest, participated by twenty three creative employees whose talents in arts were showcased. A planting activity added colour to the occasion as we make use of our in-house manufactured plastic flower pots. The event culminated with a short program, announcing the winners of the poster making contest and the educational talk about Waste Management and Environment Protection by Mr. Madhumohan of DULSCO. Precision Group and Al Rawabi Dairy Company started a business partnership way back June 1989. During that time, there were merely four main players in the dairy industry supplying powdered milk in cartons and tetra packs which resulted to surpluses of milk supply being thrown into the desert. This prompted Dr. Ahmed Eltigani - CEO of Al Rawabi Dairy Company to initiate practical solutions to prevent wastage of milk. With his collaboration of ideas with then Precision Group’s General Manager Mr. Krishnan Kumar Bansal, they both found the best solution and pioneered the production of plastic bottles for milk with capacities of 500ml & 1 litre instead of the cartons and tetra packs for Dubai. That marked the start of the production of milk plastic bottles in the country. According to Dr. Eltigani “Mr. Bansal’s unparalleled dedication, dynamic support and hands-on strategy was key to the strong partnership of both companies”. With the growing competition in the plastic packaging industry, Dr. Eltigani encouraged Precision Group to maintain its status as the top choice in the market. He further suggested Precision Group to be creative in implementing strategic plans giving more focus on technology, logistics and quality control. Precision Group responded by bringing in new and unique designs and presenting it to customers and introducing innovations promoting overall quality and efficiency. For 28 years, the relationship between Al Rawabi and Precision Group is still growing, creating new businesses and product developments. Dr. Eltigani said “Precision Group remains and still considers Precision Group as a valued business partner, a trusted and preferred supplier in the industry”.

One of our initiatives has been to design and manufacture flower pots from the scrap material that is a byproduct of our daily manufacturing process. All proceeds from the sale of these sturdy, durable flower pots will be donated to the Al Noor Training Centre for Special Needs. For the 13th time, Precision Group once again participated in the biggest MENA International Trade Show for Plastics, Petrochemical, Packaging & Rubber Industry – The Arabplast 2017 in Dubai World Trade Centre (8-10 January 2017). This year’s Arabplast showcased the largest gathering of 34,000 strong plastics, polymers and rubber industry visitors, with over 1,000 world class exhibitors from more than 40 countries. Precision introduced the latest innovations and developments of modern machines and technologies in the mould industry for dairy & poultry products. Among those showcased were the latest moulds of thin wall pail for dairies and new product range of this wall buckets from 1 Litre to 10 Litres using the IML (in moulds labelling) machines, the state of the art printing technology of thermoforming cups and round thin wall containers and the complete range for poultry packaging in different sizes. Within the 3-day event, a significant number of more than 100 came to visit Precision’s stand of which are considered to be potential business contacts in the next months. This event since its conception in 1992 has been the platform for Precision Group to leave a mark in the GCC and MENA region as one of the biggest and focal point of reference in the mould and plastics industries.

Precision Group participated in the recent Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (7-9, November 2016). Gulfood Manufacturing covers three main product categories which include Ingredients Middle East, Propack Middle East and Logistics Solutions Middle East. 35,000 visitors came to experience Gulfood Manufacturing this year, attended by 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries around world in 28 national pavilions. Precision is one of the oldest and largest plastic packaging manufacturers in the UAE. The complete line of packaging solutions was on show, along with Precision’s mould manufacturing capabilities. During the event, Precision was able to receive more than 100 guests, and generate 25 interested prospective clients.
